Tips on Entering References Manually

 
  • Enter human author names as surname, first name. Eg:
    Walker, Jimmy.
     
  • Enter additional author's names on new lines. Eg:
    Walker, Jimmy
    Sreesanth, M. J.
     
  • Place a comma at the end of a corporate author's name. Eg:
    Department of Finance,
     
  • If you don't have a date, enter n.d. into the date field
     
  • Enter page ranges as first page-last page. Eg: 19-23
     
  • When entering book and article titles, capitalise the titles as you would according to the style you are using.
