The LinkedIn Learning database has a lot of courses & video tutorials on using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Software books

 

The Library has all kinds of books that guide you through how to use different kinds of software. 

Search the Library Catalogue for handbooks & guides on using Adobe applications. You can try a search like: 

  • Adobe AND (photoshop OR illustrator OR indesign) AND design 

Browse books on the shelf, to see what's available. Software guides are found in the Reading Room (Level 5) in the 006 section.

Software at UTS

 

As Visual Communication students, you will have access to software needed to complete your course. These are provided by the DAB faculty. 


Computer lab software

There are plenty of computer labs and general access computers on Campus for you to use. These have different software installed on them. Click on the links to find out what software is installed on the campus computers. 

How to access LinkedIn Learning

Click the 'Sign In' button

On a LinkedIn Learning course or video, check the top-right corner. If you are already signed-in, you will see the UTS logo. If not, click the 'Sign In' button.

Use your UTS email address

Your student email should be your name or student number followed by @student.uts.edu.au.

Continue to Single Sign-On

You should be prompted to sign in with Single Sign-On. To get this option, make sure you use your UTS email.

Log in to your UTS email

Sign in to your UTS account using your student email and password. This is the Single Sign-On process.

Finish

You should now be signed in to LinkedIn Learning on your UTS student account. Check the top, right-hand corner; you should see a blue UTS logo.
