Academic Integrity at UTS: Reproducing others' work

Reproducing others' work

Reproducing other people's work means replicating their work exactly as it appears in the original source.

You can do this by quoting words, text, images, diagrams, graphs or tables

How to quote

When quoting, make sure:

  • the text or images are copied exactly as in the original
  • it is clearly indicated what is quoted content and what is your own work
  • a citation/reference crediting the original source is provided

Examples of quoting
