Assignment 2 details

 

For assignment 2, you are required to give a presentation with your team to the class on your research topic.

You should provide a background to your topic, justifying its importance by using at least 4-5 articles (e.g. journal articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, government reports, etc.) in the literature review, according to the size of the group. 

You will need

  • 4-5 articles supporting your research topic (e.g. journal articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, government reports, etc.)
  • At least one journal article must be included in the 'Literature Review'. 
  • Then you should outline your research project, including your purpose, survey design, expected outcomes and conclusion.
  • At the end, you should all be prepared to answer questions from the audience.

 

Assignment 3 details

 

For assignment 3, you are required to write a 1,500 word report about your research which will be marked individually.

There are two parts to this assignment: 

  1. A draft research report, hard copy and Turnitin in Workshop 10b
    (including parts of Literature review, Research aim and research question, Design of the survey, Research results and References).

  2. A final research report, hard copy and Turnitin in Workshop 12b.

You will need:

  • Five articles in the ‘Literature review’ section. At least one of them must be a journal article. All the articles must be different from the articles used in the literature review of your Assignment 2 (Group presentations).

  • Six or seven questions from ten survey questions from your group survey in the ‘Research results’ section. Both quantitative and qualitative data collected from Multiple choices, Matrix scales and Comment boxes must be reported. A total of four ‘Figures’ and ‘Tables’ should be employed in the result reporting (1 table – Matrix scales, 1 table – Comment box, 2 figures – Multiple choices).

  • Five articles used in the literature review to be used to compare or contrast with findings of the primary research in the ‘Discussion’ section.

  • Additional articles to introduce the research background and research context in the ‘Introduction’ section.
